Fishing

Fishing is a beautiful activity in the Corbett National Park along the clear Ramganga River, which winds through the area’s rocky, hilly terrain. Mahseer, the world’s finest sports fish, is found there. It is a scaly freshwater fish. To mention a few fish species, the goonch and brown trout can be found here. A licence from the Divisional Forest Officer is all you need to enjoy your day at one of India’s most well-known angling locations. The ideal time to visit here is from mid-October to mid-June because of the cooler temperatures before summer arrives, even though it is accessible all year long.

At 1600 feet above sea level, Tirthan Valley is located in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu District. The Tirthan Valley, which gets its name from the river that runs through it, offers countless opportunities for fun activities and aquatic sports. This valley is best known for its trout fishing, which also makes it one of the top angling locations in India. The magnificent Himalayas with snow-covered tops gaze over the Tirthan River.

A region with a lot of Golden Mahseer is located northeast of Shimla. The apple orchards, oak, and deodar woods in the Pabbar Valley area are also well-known. There are also large populations of trout and carp in this area. The fact that there are numerous camps at the fishing valley is evidence of how well-liked it is by aficionados. Only pole and line fishing is permitted in trout waters, and the government requires a licence for trout fishing. The best opportunity to visit this still-relatively undiscovered little paradise in Himachal is between October and April.
